For those who want to organise, or get invited to a festival.

Meet the directors of Asian storytelling Festivals and find like-minded        tellers and explore collaborations and exchanges.

Small group discussions focusing on the future and function of FEAST, and the theme/content for our  Conference 2019

 Evening
Transfer by MRT to Little India for dinner (at delegates own expense).

Delegates will be offered a range of restaurants to choose from> Vegetarian and non-vegetarian, and at different price levels. 


Followed by a casual story swap session at the studio of AKT Creations (in a traditional Little India shophouse. Note there are two floors of stairs to climb).
 NoteDr Margaret Read MacDonald's workshop in the morning is organised by the Storytelling Association Singapore (SAS).  As one of FEAST's objectives is to promote greater collaboration between local/national organisations, Story Connection Ltd, which is organising the Conference on behalf of FEAST, invited the SAS, as Singapore's oldest storytelling organisation, to manage Dr MacDonald's sessions.  There is a separate fee of SGD $40 for this workshop.

The 398.2 Storytelling Festival 

A free, one-day, family storytelling festival for families  at the National Library  in Victoria Street.

This will be a great opportunity to observe Singaporean storytellers in action!  Plus ! 3 hour-long sessions are set-aside for FEAST members to tell a 10-minute story each, for which an honorarium will also be paid.
